Kyle Kitchen is the Elementary IT4 Learning Consultant for the DSBN and is a Maker, coder, speaker, leader and all-around teacher of innovation. He is passionate about inspiring teachers and students to enhance their learning through modern technologies. Kyle can often be found sharing creative designs, and integrating uses of high and low-tech projects that are rooted in thinking critically about curriculum and understanding of the world around us. Through his mindset of the maker culture, coding, design thinking and support of the UN Sustainable goals he believes that innovation stems from a curiosity and a willingness to explore the possibilities that may be outside regular thinking. Kyle is the creator of Kinders Who Code, a Google Certified educator, an ambassador for Makey Makey, a certified Ozobot educator and has presented at Connect, BIT, EdTech summits and ISTE. He is rarely seen in the wild without his Batman Maker bag of tricks and an extremely large coffee in hand.
